The Naval War College database lists the following regarding the status of the Oregon BB 3 :
Stricken, Nov 1942. Towed to Guam in Aug 1944 for use as a breakwater. Broke moorings during a typhoon in Nov 1948 and drifted to sea. Was located by search planes, 500 nm SE of Guam on 8 Dec 1948 and towed back. Sold for scrap, Mar 1956. Resold to a Japa FREE PERSONALIZATION available on all Navy ship displays.
