Years Served: 1957/1961… 2ND DIV,GQ STATION MT 52, (GUN CPTN WAS VINCENT GILLELAND DIDN’T WE MAKE 3 CRUISES (WEST PACK)? AND WERE’NT WE IN THE , FIRST OR SECOND QUEMOY/MATSU CRISIS WITH THE 7TH FLEET,IN THE TAIWAN STRAIGHTS OR FORMOSA STRAIGHTS ? NOW LIVING IN SOUTHERN OR.( MYRTLE CREEK) RETIRED MECHCANIC 74 ! ( IF ANYONE HAS INFO ON ANY OF THESE CRUISES IN WEST PAC, FILL ME IN PLEASE AND WHAT MEDALS DID WE GET FOR THOSE TOURS? OH ! ALSO I DID HELMSMAN ,WILLY BOGGS WAS LEAD HELMSMAN
