Years Served: 1972-1975…Reported aboard Blandy on New years Eve day 1971 as a CSSN then found my way down to the strip. Glad to see that guest book is up and running again. Had 3 1/2 fun years on the Blandy.

Years Served: 1972-75…reported aboard Blandy 36 years ago today in Norfolk as a CSSN and then headed out the gate and went to the strip to bring in the New Year. The next three and a half years flew by with this being the sea goingest ship in the fleet. give a shout out to moeamundson51@centurytel.net

Years Served: 1957 to 1960…[b][color=blue][/color]I served aboard the USS Blandy when she was commissioned in 1957 BT # 2 fire room. I had the great honor of being commission to stand watch over the Unknowns from Europe all the way to Washington DC. I am a proud U.S. Navy veteran from Weber City, Virginia, now living in Kingsport, Tennessee. [/b]

Years Served: Spring of 1968 till end of West Pac Cruise in fall of 1968…Left as MM3, R Div. AC&R, Throttle Watch

Years Served: 1977-1980…Got my feet wet as Boilers Division Officer, two cruises, one med and one Mideast.
