Was just messing around bored one day and decided to google the USS Carter DE-112. My grandfather was in the Navy and on this ship. His name was Robert C. Miller. Years ago we actually had a phone call regarding a reunion but sadly my “pap” had passed away. He was in his early 80’s when he passed. I can only assume there isn’t too many left that served on this ship but I thank them all for their service.
