Years Served: Feb 1956 – Oct 1958…Hello Shipmates – My first ship – what an experience! I went on to serve on 2 destroyers; USS Jenkins DD-447 and USS Hamner DD-718. I got out in 1966 after 11 years and came back to Texas. I retired from Lockheed-Martin in 1997.
