Years Served: 1967-1968
I was Gun Boss in Cony with one tour in SE Asia. Also I think I may be the only weps officer to live fire the Mk 108 Rocket Launcher (flaming pisspot). Actually fired a warshot. Currently livning in NJ and write historical novels for a living. Website: seafiction.net
John (Jack) Sheehan
Years Served: 1953-1955
MM2 When discharged in 1955. Served 6th fleet cruising the Med and no where near the Korean conflict. Still kicking in Connecticut.
Dave Barker
Years Served: 1959 to November 25, 1961
Dave Barker served on the Cony during the infamous Bay of Pigs invasion. I was a BMSN and a Leading Seaman my last year aboard. I am a veterans service officer with 30 years experience. I have several books and many published articles on PTSD, Agent Orange and Persian Gulf illness. All free upon request.

I was a machinist mate in the aft engine room.
I am a retired police officer having served 30 years, now I am in politics in my home town of Waterbury CT.
