It was some of the best years of my life. Years Served: Son of Haynsworth Veteran.…Son of Nroman Long Jr. Served in Sonar from 59 – 63. Went by Slats most of the time. 2 med cruises. Great duty. served 1961 thru 1963 as a bm in 1st div.( wouldn’t change a thing) nov.2018 served 60 thru 64 as a Bm in 1st div. had a great time with a great bunch of guys.
