Hello, I recently found a liberty card from the USS Hank for George W. Cooksy. If this means anything to anyone I am happy to send it along to you. (Special to me, shipmates, because I am ex-Navy as well, serving on Bigelow DD-942 and MacDonough DDG-39. ). David Puryear

Years Served: 1964 – 1968…I came aboard as a QM3 and transferred 4 years later as a QM1. I have many fond memories of liberty from Halifax to Panama and the many ports in between.
Years Served: 1958/59…I SERVED ON THE USS HANK FROM 1958/59. I WAS A THE DISBURSING CLERK AND WAS ASSSIGNED TO THE SUPPLY DEPT. I WOULD LIKE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ED COLLINS WHO WAS A STOREKEEPER. HE RESIDED IN THE BRONX. THE USS HANK HAS A REUNION EVERY YEAR AND I TRY TO MAKE THEM.
Years Served: 1961-1962…I was RM1 at the time. I remember that the radio gang was the best in the squadron. I had the pleasure of serving with a great group of men.
