Years Served: Apr 1954 to Jun 1957…Hello to all shipmates aboard Gainard Apr54 – Jun 57.
Years Served: 1970…I served in GAINARD after boot camp and before OCS while she was beginning to be decommissioned in Charleston, SC in 1970. Nothing but fond memories of the ship and crew, many of whom took their time with me to get me ready for OCS. Fair Winds and Following Seas to all our Shipmates! CDR Glenn H. Quiggle USN (ret) LaGrange, Georgia
