Was onboard from Oct.61 till Oct.63. MM3 in Main Control. Collided with tanker while refueling on way to the Med. Spent a month in dry dock for repairs in Naples Italy. The Old Man lost his commission. Was in the Cuban missile blockade. love to hear from the guys. Stafford,Fats,Roberts,Tiger,O’boyle,can’t remember every one if your still around Email me.
On board 68-71 SF3 was on sound & security watch when we ran aground in the canal. Was on the main deck with Chief Sam and Fred Ostrom when we dropped the load. What a couple of days! We are having our 30th reunion in Sept 2019 in Parkersburg WV. If interested contact me at kconnell60@yahoo,com

I served on the Dickson from 1969-1972 as RD3. Remember Pete Dubois and John Miller. I remember running aground and listing for that 30 degrees. Some good times.
