Spent two weeks training as a BT striker after boot camp in Great Lakes, around 27 June,1971 from Philly to Broklyn ending July 10, 1971. It was great training and a lot of fun. I want to say sorry to “Abe” for waking you up by unhooking your rack and rolling you in the floor. Ronnie Hienkle and Bill Goff were with me (from Lynchburg VA) but in different divisions. It was fun hearing about the Cuban Missile Crisis. Don’t forget there is a movie out with the Pierce in it! (one scene “where’s the Pierce!!”)
