Years Served: 1945-1946…The pierce was a great ship, had a great skipper, (Simmers)was a enlisted mans leader, for the most part had a great crew, made my time aboard much better
Spent 4 years 1968-72 as BT3. Thanks to my Navy training as a BT I spent all my working years after discharge as a boiler operator retiring from NYS . Living the good life in up state NY.Catch me on Face book.
