Years Served: 4…Hi, Served on the Lloyd Thomas from 1964 to 1967 as a GMGSN.Best time I ever had. Many a Med Cruise.Also Gitmo.Was amember of the four piece R&R band that was formed.Sad ending for a proud ship.Lost track of some great shipmates.Be great to hear from them.

Years Served: 1963-1966…Served during Viet Nam era…..was Radarman….Saw many places in the Meditteranean Sea….went below the equator to the Seychelle Islands…..almost made around the world cruise to Viet Nam but was called back to the Indian Ocean to check out an Indian airline crash….believe this was in 1966. Wound up back in Newport, RI
