Years Served: 1962-1964…Just went to Henderson reunion in Nashville,Tennessee and had a great time meeting with some of my old friends and making new ones from earlier years spent on the Henderson…I would encourage those that missed this years reunion to join the reunion next year in Reno, Nevada. Everyday is a treasure and it is always nice to share it with an old shipmate.

Years Served: 1954-1957…I went aboard in October,1954 and got off in April 1957. I was a BT and served in both fire rooms. Mr Al Tilley was Eng. Officer and the BT chiefs were Dennett and Hayes. We had a great time and I would enjoy hearing from any one who served aboard. We have a reunion each year so think about attending as it is a hoot!!!!

Was stationed onboard from 1978 till I got out in Oct of 1979. Worked in “M” Division with MM2 Eric Warner, MM1 Dutch, MM2 Jamison, MM3 Bales Naugh, Kenny, BT Chief Tilbury to name a few. Played on the softball team (or practiced down at the Mole) Tried to set sail several times only to get tugged back into port. We finally set sail to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Ensenada and Acapulco and we made a gun run at San Clemente Island only to fail due to gyro not working. Good Times!!!
