Loretta Perry
Years Served: Father served between 1943-45
My father's name was Jules Perry. He was from New Orleans and served in WWII in the Pacific sometime between 1943-45; I am not sure when. If anyone had a father/grandfather who may have served during that time I would be interested to speak to you. I am seeking any pictures of the ship or shipmates my father may have had. This is just natural curiosity on my part I suppose. Let me say I am proud of all of you who have served our country and I thank you.

Served on the Dicky B from 1961 to 1964 came aboard at the shipyards in Bremerton Washington just out of Radar “A” school.
Chief Scott was our mentor, I am email connected to a number of shipmates that were aboard during my time. About 35 shipmates hold a ships reunion every year. This year it was held in Sacramento Ca. We hold the reunions at different parts of the country west coast, mid America, then east coast, back to mid America and repeat the rotation. We do this to minimize the cost to those attending. Send me an email and I’ll provide more info.
