Anybody out there from ww2 that was aboard Irwin? My dad was aboard as GM1. Would be great to make contacts and share stories.
Looking for shipmates of the USS Irwin DD-794 who may have served with and remember one BMG3 John B. Kane, Sr. who we believe served on her during the Korean War. Any information would be greatly appreciated by his family. BMG3 Kane departed for his last cruise on 11/28/1995 in Elmira, NY. Thanks so very much. I’m retired USN.
