I am looking for AX Patrick Wallace (born around 1932) from the Muleshoe, TX area and Paul Henry Moss from TN. They both served with my grandpa, Michael Fink, on the USS Finch DER-328 from 1965-1966.

Served on USS Finch DER-328 April 1965 – Dec 1966. Sonar Technician/with Gunners Mate duties on 30 Cal. Machine gun on open bridge wings. I will never forget making those BT [bathythermograph] drops off the fantail in rough weather. Walking the 02 deck with a Thompson Submachine Gun, wearing a flak jacket and a black beret on Operation Market Time patrols. I presently live in Matthews, NC. just outside Charlotte. Go Panthers! Retired from the US Postal Service. Would love to hear from any shipmates that served DE duty.
