The guided missile cruiser USS ENGLAND (CG 22) lies at anchor in the gulf. A barge is tied on the ENGLAND's port side to allow small craft, such as the one at right, to visit the ship. The ENGLAND and other Navy ships are in the gulf to provide security for US-flagged shipping. - 1989 Perisan Gulf The guided missile cruiser USS ENGLAND (CG 22) lies at anchor in the gulf.
