Years Served: 1982-1984…She was the first ship that I served aboard. I will always have fond memories people I served with and the many countries we encountered during the two years I was assigned to her. The sailors who served aboard her were exceptional people who took great pride in their jobs and duties and always went above and beyond what was expected of them to keep her ready for any assignment at any time. I have never experienced the amount of pride and camaraderie, anywhere, that could compare to what I experienced aboard the USS Towers.

Years Served: 1962-1964…When you look at the comments and stories that are posted on the Towers website, You start to understand just how special that ship was to everyone who was lucky enough to have sailed on her. I’m proud to say I was one. Bob Jackson 1st Div.
