Years Served: 1962-1965…I worked in A division in the Liquid oxygen plants located on the hanger deck. The people in A division were great. I would like to hear from anyone in A division, that can remember my handsome face.

Years Served: Bintliff…Ship’s newspaper editor from late ‘74 through Dec ’76. Remember MMR4 fire most, then shellback initiation, Russian Bear sightings and Softball team doubleheader at Baseball park at Pearl Harbor. Free beer, about a hundred or so in the stands. Played 2b, Marty Martinez played SS, Dan Gill at first and a guy named Cody (from GA) behind home plate. Also played in front of hundreds at Rizal Polo field against Singaporean national team while in port. Great memories, great shipmates. Remember the Kitty Hawk Flyer? I took most of the shots of the girls posted on the inside editor’s page. Also did a rock ’n roll shift on the radio and control work in the TV station. Remember com-shawing the sergeant-at-arms with a racy videotape in the control room with Jon Faber, Mike Duncan and Jeff Starkey. What a blast those years were!
