Years Served: NONE…Dear All, By coincidence I came across this site, and much to my surprise I see that the ship was called USS LOFBERG. Where does the name come from?As you can see my family name is LOFBERG (Swedish). Viveca Lofberg e-mail: viveca.lofberg@hotmail.com
Years Served: 1969-1971… Served as Operations Officer upon completion of Destroyer School in 1969 until the ship was decommissioned.
Years Served: 1959 thru 1961…I am looking for cruise books for these years. 1959 thru 1961 Thank you Robert King
Years Served: 1945-1946…In memory of Robert Dale (Bob) Kent who served as an Able Bodied Seaman at the end of World War 2. He died of cancer in 1960.
