Served on board 1962- 1964, R division, made two Med Cruises including the North Atlantic in 1963. Some of the guys called me a nickname ( grommet ) I have no idea where it came from. I would like to hear from some of my shipmates.

My hubby (now deceased) served on the USS Barton during the Cuban conflict! Watch the movie 13 Days for some of the history of that time!

I was onboard the barton f rom 1956 to 1961,always wondered about a few guys,verlie craft,j.c.bakerthat is just a couple.

Served on board 1944 – 1945. Just turned 90 years old and not sure if any of my old shipmates are still out there.
