Years Served: Part of 1956 & 1957 approx. 1 year on Hank of 4 years in…Worked in radio shack on the Hank, teletype as was a TE3, teleman. Lots of cooking in shack also which drove the repair men nuts because of the grease in the equipment. After service used the GI bill for school and then spent 32 years in sales for Procter & Gamble. Now retired in clean air country of Fargo, North Dakota with a lake cottage in Minn.
Years Served: 24 Years…Came aboard the USS Hank DD-702 as a FA in 1961. Was assigned to A Gang and stood watches in the Fireroom and Engineroom! Made two Med Cruises with extra time added for the Red Sea! Made several Carribean Cruises with training in Gitmo! Left the Hank as a EN3 around 1963 and was sent to the USS Yellowstone AD-27 in Mayport! Retired as a MKCS with 10 years USN and 14 years USCG!

Years Served: 1962-1963…MADE THE MED CRUISE IN 63 AND WAS DOWN GITMO DURING THE CRISIS. OUR REUNION IS IN ARLINGTON VA. THIS YEAR COME SEE SOME OLD MATES… GREAT SHIP THE HANK WAS…GOOD GUYS AND GOOD MEMORIES………….
