Served on board uss borie from 1966 to 1968. Took North Atlantic cruise.

I served on the Borie between 1970-1972. Best. Boat. Ever. I had a lot of fun on the Borie in the electric dept with John Hollingsworth , weird Harold Puckett and Mikey. Milborn.

1964-1966 I was aboard made STG3 in 1966 ,Retire 1991 as STGC.I live in Tulalip, Wa.and Olongapo, PI.Borie was the Best.

My dad, Jim Connelly (Chicago) was aboard 1959 – ? He passed in 2004 of a “service contracted” disease – ALS. Came across this canvas painting of his Mediterranean Cruise with all of the ports of call, and thought some might like to see. Email me if so.
